Southwest USA Coffee Tour

We recently ventured through the southwest corner of the US in search of the best coffee in every area. We asked for your opinions and followed your lead. Here’s our favorites and must visits for your next trip!

NO. 1

Iconik Coffee Roasters Santa Fe, NM

Iconik is absolutely top notch. Their espresso, their single origin, their specialty drinks, heck ‑ even their food. We LOVED their Lena location & cannot wait to go back for the Barista Olympics next summer. 🏅

NO. 2

Driftwood Coffee Peoria, AZ

What’s not to love? Walk up window, specialty donuts, exquisite latte concoctions... Their pottery in house was such a delight. If you ever find yourself in PHX, check them out! ✨

NO. 3

Portola Coffee Costa Mesa, CA

We loved our visit to Orange County. While we did visit during the first week that California started to reopen this winter, we still enjoyed the pour over & rose cardamom latte with the infamous @sidecardoughnuts. 🍩

NO. 4

Handlebar Coffee Santa Barbara, CA

If you’ve never been to SB, you better plan a trip. It is one of the most beautiful beach towns we’ve ever been. Handlebar was incredibly community‑centric & we almost talked ourselves into staying a week just so we could visit their shop every day. It was that good. 👌🏻

NO. 5

Vesta Coffee Las Vegas, NV

If you’ve never been through downtown LV, you are certainly missing out. It has such a rich art scene, but most importantly ‑ it has Vesta Coffee. This was our second visit & it did not disappoint. Their macadamian milk is out of this world. Same sentiment goes for their coffee too. ☕️

NO. 6

Merchant Coffee Prescott, AZ

We nearly stumbled into this dreamy coffee shop tucked neatly into the coolest place we’ve ever been ‑ @foundingfatherscollective Not only did they have a specialty coffee shop, they had a barber shop, 65 beer/cocktail taps, a mercantile and a gym. It’s possible there’s even a speakeasy, but we never figured that one out. I guess we’ll just have to go back! 💈🍻🏋️☕️🍸
